The leader of the Islamic movement which is affiliated with the so-called "moderate" Ra'am party calls on Muslims to come to the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Tishri holidays to demonstrate their presence in front of the Jews.
Sheikh Freij calls on the Muslim public in Israel to come to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it from what he defines as "the invasion of Jews".
In an interview with the Arab newspaper Panorama, Freij said that "our people should increase their visits to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially in these days when the settler invasions are increasing."
Freij emphasized that "the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is the exclusive property of Muslims only, and the occupation forces' damage to the Al-Arza Mosque and their entry into it armed with weapons is a brutal and illegal attack."
