The "Chariots of Fire" exercise, the largest and most comprehensive in IDF history, showcases an attack option on Iran. 

Elijah the prophet, narrated in the Book of Kings, ascended to heaven "in a chariot of fire and horses of fire." Hence the name of the fire chariot exercise, the largest and most comprehensive in the history of the IDF, which is currently taking place all over the country.

The uniqueness of the exercise is not only in its size but in that it presents to the Israelis a not particularly encouraging but realistic scenario: the IDF is waging war on more than one front. Another uniqueness of the "Chariots of Fire": It includes a scenario of an attack in Iran carried out by the Air Force and other needed units.
