Arabs arrived Friday at Lifta, the old village at Jerusalem’s entrance that was conquered by the IDF during Israel’s Independence War in 1948, to claim their alleged ownership over the town.

Lifta was abandoned by its residents during the war that was initiated by Arabs living in the British mandate and 7 Arab nations surrounding the tiny, new-found Jewish state.
