Germany: Woman dies from 28 stab wounds, Afghan Muslim migrant husband says she committed suicide

Here is yet another manifestation of the culture of violence that arises from religious texts which sanction the beating of disobedient women (Qur’an 4:34). No, Islam does not allow one to kill one’s wife, but when Islamic texts allow for violence against women, and many Muslim countries have reduced penalties for honor killing, sometimes the punishment of a disobedient woman can get out of hand.

As for the claim that she committed suicide, “The Prophet said, ‘War is deceit.’” (Bukhari 4.52.269)

“Woman bleeds to death after 28 stab wounds, but husband speaks of suicide,” translated from “Frau verblutet nach 28 Messerstichen, doch Ehemann spricht von Selbstmord,” Focus, February 15, 2022:

The trial of a 38-year-old man who allegedly killed his 23-year-old wife in September last year begins on Tuesday. She bled to death after being stabbed 28 times, but the suspect claims she killed herself.

In September of last year, a 23-year-old woman was found dead in a refugee shelter in Ahrensburg. Shortly thereafter, police arrested her 38-year-old husband as he was about to leave the country. He explained that his wife judged herself. But the autopsy showed that she was killed with multiple knife wounds. He will be tried beginning on Tuesday.

The public prosecutor accuses him of having killed his young wife for base motives. The 23-year-old Afghan woman wanted a separation, but his “exaggerated possessiveness” did not want her to “allow her to live without him,” according to the indictment.

Suspected perpetrator picked up in a coach in Bavaria

The accused was caught by federal police officers when they routinely checked a coach bound for Milan on the A9 at around 1.45 a.m. on the night of September 7 at the Autohof in Münchberg – around 550 km from Ahrensburg. During an interrogation, he explained to the officers that his wife had taken her own life two days earlier in the apartment they shared in Ahrensburg. He then led them to the apartment in question.

The body found there had multiple stab wounds. An autopsy revealed the victim was stabbed a total of 28 times. Cause of death: bleeding to death. An arrest warrant was then issued against the husband on suspicion of manslaughter and the area was examined for traces.

23-year-old found dead in refugee accommodation – process should take eight days

Around 20 riot police from Eutin searched the premises and the roofs of the refugee accommodation in Kornkamp. They also combed the perpetrator’s presumed escape route for evidence and found two cell phones and a cell phone case behind the waiting shelter of the train station on the hillside – they probably belonged to the victim.

The murder trial against the 38-year-old starts on Tuesday. The court scheduled eight days for the main hearing and summoned 29 witnesses and two experts.
