IRGC Navy Commander Admiral Alireza Tangsiri said in a March 1, 2023 interview on the Arabic-language Al-Alam TV (Iran) that Iran would retaliate against any country that allows Israel to use its territory to conspire against Iran.
He explained that even though the Iranians believe that Islam prohibits shedding the blood of fellow Muslims, it would have no choice but to retaliate against countries that have brought Zionists into their territory.
Reporter: "In the face of the [Israeli] threats, have you sent clear messages to the opposite side?"
Alireza Tangsiri: "Yes, definitely. We will indeed retaliate twofold and crush any area which plots against Iran's interests originate. These are not just slogans, but practical measures."
