Sgt. Noa Johann is an IDF paramedic in the Faran Brigade, and since last Sunday the a receiver of the "Citation of excellence"  from the commander of the Southern Command.

Several months ago, an event she particularly remembers happened: she was called to the scene of an incident in which an accident occurred between a cyclist and a bus. Noa provided care to the cyclist who was seriously injured, and a few hours after he was evacuated from the scene she received a picture of him stable and smiling. 

Realizing that she had a part in saving his life, she reached a turning point in the service that showed her the meaning of her role.

For her perseverance in the job, her speed of response and the quality of her care, Noa was awarded the "Citation of excellence" Commander of the Southern Command.
