Religious Zionism lawmaker Orit Struck praised Monday the compromise reached between the government and the residence of the Evyatar settlement post.
“I congratulate Evyatar’s residents, Nahala movement, head of the Samaria Regional Council, and the many backers of Evyatar, for their adherence to the land of Israel, and for the determination that prevented the displacement of the Evyatar village,” the Knesset Member stressed.
“I also congratulate the ministers [Ayelet] Shaked and [Benny] Gantz who undertook the formation of this agreement, and I call the government not to cede to the pressure of the left-wing coalition members.”
Earlier in the day, the government reached a compromise in which the settlers of Evyatar would leave and a Yeshiva would be established in their stead.
