A girl from the south and a man from the north were evacuated last night (Friday) in critical condition to hospitals after being bitten by snakes.

First, it was reported that the 10-year-old was bitten by a snake, and was brought in a private vehicle to a meeting point with a medical team on Route 31 near the Shoket junction. The medics treated her and evacuated her barely conscious to the Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva.

Afterward, a 79-year-old man was bitten in a moshav in the Jordan Valley Regional Council and brought in with MDA staff on Road 90 near the Philon Interchange. MDA staff treated and evacuated him to Ziv Hospital in Safed in critical condition.
