Made In Israel Video show - A Tale of Two Coins

In today's excellent episode, Ze'ev Orenstein from "City of David" shows and tells us of two coins. The first was minted in 71AD, a year ofter the Roman conquest of Judea, and it's capital, Jerusalem. On the coin it says: "Judea Capta" or Judea has been captured. "Judea" because that is what it was called. Jews - come from Judea.

The second coin was minted during the Bar Kochva uprising and it says: "For the freedom of Zion" where Zion is another name for Jerusalem.

He asks - why was this coin minted when they new they were losing, when the metal could have neem used for weapons.
