The Russians regularly use Iranian-made suicide drones such as the Shahed-131 and Shahed-136 to target Ukraine. The Mohajer-6 is much less common. It is a reconnaissance and attack drone.

The drone was destroyed on September 2, 2023 by air defense forces in the Odesa region - so reported the press service of the Ukrainian Southern Air Command without specifying details.

Ukraine's air defense forces have previously destroyed a Mohajer 6 attack drone, and last year the Ukrainian navy managed to capture such a drone when it fell into the Black Sea. As it turned out, the UAV was shot down by a small armored gunboat.
