The month of Elul is the 12th and final month in the Hebrew calendar. According to Jewish tradition, Elul is a month that connects the past year with the coming year. “Elul” is similar to the verb “search” in Aramaic, and it represents the essence of this month: Elul is a time of repentance in preparation for the High Holy Days; a time of reflection on the past year and on our aspirations for the coming one. ✡️🙏🤲
