Gamal Mubarak, son of ex-president is "making a comeback" in Egypt

The issue of Gamal Mubarak's status became a hot topic in the networks and a source of clashes between the supporters of President al-Sisi and his opponents.

The appearance this week of Gamal Mubarak, the son of the former president of Egypt, Hosni, at the funeral of a well-known lawyer caused a storm on social networks.

In the videos posted online, many Egyptians were seen approaching to shake Gamal's hand while chants of "the president" are heard in the background.

It will be recalled that just 11 years ago, one of the reasons Egyptians took to the streets to oust then President Mubarak was his plans to crown his son as his successor. Should President al-Sisi be afraid of Gamal Mubarak?
