The Chief of Staff, Lt. Col. Aviv Kochavi, participated Tuesday in the Strategic-Operational Forum for the IDF and Commanders from the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Army, from the Central Command (CENTCOM).

The Chief of Staff first reviewed the situation in developments in the Middle East and then delved into opportunities to expand the network of strategic-security cooperation.

The Chief of Staff concluded: "The partnership between us is not only based on operational plans, but embodies a true strategic designer who influences the entire area. Operational cooperation is a force that is not only measured in capabilities and means, but also in learning and mutual commitment from the deep connection between the two countries."
