In reference to the announcement of the dissolution of the Knesset, he said that "We are standing before you today at a difficult moment, understanding that we have made the best decision for Israel."
Yair Lapid (who once the government falls will become the caretaker prime minister until a new government is formed):
"We must return to the idea of unity of elections, not let the forces of darkness dismantle us from within." He also thanked Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who said: "The friendship between us has stood the test and encountered obstacles, but has always succeeded."
