Lt. Col. A. Ra'an International Coordination at the IDF Headquarters tells the Air Force website that "when the exercises take place in Israel, descriptions can be adapted to those we experience in the operational aspects."
In the past year, the Air Force has participated in a record number of overseas events, international exercises and maneuvers, hosting representatives of foreign air forces and hosting air force commanders from around the world.
"International cooperation in the Air Force has increasingly become an integral part of the corps' work," says Lt. Col. A. "This is reflected in the operational world, where the arena is much more crowded than in the past, and includes many international partners."
The Air Force participated last year in the JUNIPER FALCON exercise virtually because of the corona, in conjunction with the U.S. Air Force's GNA array, to examine the process of applying lessons learned from the past, updating orders, and maintaining strategic cooperation with the world's great power. The Air Force hosted: ENDURING LIGHTNING 3 exercise with the premiere participation of the 'Mighty' F-35 Squadron with the U.S. Army.
Exercise TRILIGHT 2 with the US Marines and the Royal British Air Force. DESERT EAGLE exercise in conjunction with the 133 Beige F-15 Squadron with the 494th Squadron of the USA. Exercise as an UAV with the air forces of the United States, Britain, France, Germany and Italy.
