Explosions have been reported in Kyiv and Lviv with air raid sirens going off across most of Ukraine. 

Russia stepped up air strikes on Kyiv, hitting another military factory in which one person is reported to have died. 

Kyiv has accused Russia of using long-range bombers in Mariupol, where fighting is raging around a steel plant and the port. 

Meanwhile, Ukraine President Zelensky has warned Russia that eliminating Ukrainian defenders of Mariupol would put an end to talks with Moscow.
