The Yom Kippur War remembered: The battalion commander who defeated the Syrians "I knew we would succeed, that David would defeat Goliath"

The face of the battlefield in the Golan has not changed in the 48 years that have passed since the bloody heroic battles of the 188th Brigade in 1973. Alongside an abandoned tank, Yair Nefshi, commander of the Battalion in the Yom Kippur War that received the Medal of Courage, met with the commander of the current battalion, and told about the heroism of his fighters and the lessons that remained relevant.

"The next generation is better than ours", he said.
