Intelligence agencies in France warns of Hezbollah's financial expansion in Europe during its efforts to spread its ideology amongst Muslim youth in the region. Reports say, Hezbollah's activity focuses on laundering funds of Columbian drug dealers, fundraising and story Ammonium nitrate in Europe. This substance led to the explosion in Beirut just less than a year ago.
Experts quoted by French media warned of the increasing political and religious influence of Hezbollah in Europe, where it operates covertly under religious organization that are officially affiliated. These reports say that Cyprus and England had arrested Lebanese students allegedly tied to Hezbollah, who were storing more than 8 tonnes of Ammonium nitrate in Cyprus, and more than 3 tonnes of the substance in London.
