Beacons of Hope and Redemption
After Tisha B’Av, a national day of mourning, there are seven Shabbatot (Saturdays) following, where we read passages of consolation. The message being that to overcome the mourning, there is hope following destruction. Because prophets not only were messengers of warning but also beacons of hope and redemption.

“O you afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with fair colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.” (Isaiah 54:11)
