Remembering the Victims of the Be’er Sheva Bus Bombings
On this date in 2004, Hamas terrorists perpetrated a coordinated attack on two civilian busses in Be’er Sheva that killed 16 civilians and injured 100 more.

The brutal attack sent shockwaves throughout the country, notably because the terrorists managed to travel from Hebron all the way to Be’er Sheva, which was never before targeted by suicide bombings. The ease in which the terrorists slipped through unnoticed led to increased calls for the completion of the security fence, which had not yet been built in the southern Judea.

Reuters reported that 20,000 Gazans took to the streets and celebrated the attack.
May the memories of the victims be a blessing.
