Unprecedented migration of young people from Assad-controlled areas of Syria

The newspaper Ashrak al-Awsat has revealed that there is an unprecedented exodus of young people from Assad-controlled areas, due to the poor living conditions and economy to which the state has reached.
The paper met with several Syrians from different age groups, men and women, most of whom expressed a desire to emigrate, and some confirmed that they were trying to sell their assets to finance immigration costs.
The newspaper's report stated that the cost of illegal immigration to any country in Europe ranges from $15,000 to $20,000, while the cost of immigration to Egypt, for example, ranges from $1,500 to $2,000.
