Authorities in Argentina said there were "many suspicions" about the plane, including the fact that it had far more actual crew members than was officially reported to authorities - and that it was a huge group of people compared to the fact that it was a cargo plane.
According to local authorities, it was a plane belonging to Venezuela's national airline, Convassa. Still, in addition, the passports of its 18 crew members were confiscated - and it turned out that at least five of them had Iranian citizenship. It soon became clear that at least one of them also possessed suspicious connections with the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard.
