A motorcycle ambulance, donated from Chicago, was given in memory of Ido Avigail. It will be used to help save lives in the city of Sderot.
150 motorcycle ambulances were unveiled yesterday. They will belong to United Hatzalaha, a free, volunteer-based emergency medical services organization based in Jerusalem.
Jeff Eider from Chicago chose to donate in the name of Ido Avigail, a five-year-old child from the city of Sderot, near the Gaza border, that was killed by rocket fire during Operation Guardian of the Walls.
The deputy head of the United Hatzalaha branch in Sderot and the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council thanked the donor in the name of Ido's parents, who couldn't attend the ceremony and gave him a book of Psalms from the family.
