Earlier tonight, Jerusalem Border Police undercover operatives in the a-Tour neighborhood acted as part of an extensive operation by the unit and the Jerusalem District in recent weeks against rioters.
The rioters identified the vehicle and began attacking the occupants inside it with physical violence and pepper spray in their possession.
Border police undercover officers identified the attack and arrested two of the suspects who tried to attack the forces. The arrest also included warning shots in the air.
Shortly afterwards, the unit forces arrested another suspect. During the search, the forces seized pepper spray and a folding knife that the suspects had.
The three suspects, 2 residents of a-Tur and one resident of Abu Ghosh in their 20s, along with the findings were taken for questioning by the police.
