In the last two days, the media affiliated with the Iranian opposition has been spreading hints and rumors about the arrest of the commander of the Defense Revolutionary Guards, General Ali Natsiri. According to the report, Naziri was arrested on espionage charges and two senior security officials fled the country.

In 2019, similar reports were circulated about Naziri, who at the time commanded the Ansar al-Mahdi Brigades in charge of the security of senior Revolutionary Guards officers. Iranian media reported that Naziri had a heated conversation with senior Revolutionary Guards intelligence officials, days before the former Revolutionary Guards commander Muhammad Jafari was fired. 

It is not yet know the exact situation of Ali Natsiri, where he is being held, and not even if he is being held.
