Well, he is right: in his country, men don’t take orders from women. So will Italy be so Islamophobic as to continue to prosecute him? What about Italy’s commitment to diversity?
“Bengali assaults his pregnant employer,” translated from “Bengalese aggredisce la sua datrice di lavoro incinta,” by Valentina Dardari, Il Giornale, February 11, 2022:
The man threw himself at her with scissors screaming that she was not taking orders from a woman
An Italian employer, in her fifth month of pregnancy, was attacked by a Bengali employee who brandished a pair of tailor’s scissors, and therefore particularly sharp, and hit her several times. “I don’t take orders from women, that’s enough,” the man said, clutching the scissors as if they were a dagger, according to what was reported by Repubblica.
A woman cannot give orders to a man
The serious event took place on Thursday morning, around 9, in via Santa Maria Ausiliatrice, at Appio. Only by chance did the attack not turn into a tragedy. In anger, 23-year-old Mohammed lashed out at the 38-year-old woman with the clear intention of killing her.
The reason for the violence was explained by the 23-year-old himself: “In my country we don’t take orders from women.” Some shopkeepers close to the place where the attack took place appeared on the street because they were frightened by inhuman screams coming from a shop. Shouts accompanied by meaningless phrases that echoed inside a laundry located in Piazza Santa Maria Ausiliatrice. There were many calls to ask for help at 112. In a short time police cars arrived at the place.
The Bengali’s murderous fury was unleashed by the request of the woman, owner of the business, to fulfill an order that the shop had received from a customer. At those words, the 23-year-old with a clean record, judged up to that moment by his employer a good person, took up the scissors and started hitting the 38-year-old in the chest, who was pregnant in the fifth month of gestation.
The victim in parrying the first blow with his hand cut herself and began to lose blood. Wounded too, she still tried to disarm the man who was about to hit her again when he was blocked by the owner’s husband, who providentially entered the laundry, clung to him from behind and dragged him away.
The victim is pregnant
For a few seconds between the two quarrels there was a melee, which, however saw the victim’s husband as the winner. Mohammed at that point decided to leave the shop and tried to walk away. The policemen who arrived on the spot set off in pursuit of the Bengali while the medical staff medicated the woman and transported her to the hospital for safety, also to check the condition of the baby she carried in her womb.
The 38-year-old was then discharged with a 5-day prognosis. The attacker was identified a few kilometers away from the place of violence, in Piazza Cantù. Once he was stopped, he was handcuffed and taken to the police station, accused of aggravated injuries, and is awaiting trial.
