Family of Sheerin Abu Akala demands to meet with Biden

The family of the journalist, Sheerin Abu Akala, sent a letter to US President Joe Biden, in which she asked to meet with him during his visit to the region in the coming days.

In the letter, the family expressed severe disappointment with the results of the American investigation into the death of Abu Akla:
"The family feels betrayed due to the unfortunate American reaction regarding the circumstances of her death."

Anton Abu Akala, her brother, wrote that they demand to meet with Biden to express to him directly their concerns and demands:
"The conduct of your administration proves that there is a clear intention to collapse our efforts to achieve justice."

He also claimed that the United States wanted to acquit the IDF forces of the charge.
