It was a long night yesterday as the Arab clans al-Away and al-Jabri families spent it shooting till the early hours of the morning.

The harsh weather conditions did not stop them today as at least one shooter open fired inside the new and "luxury" mall in the center of Hebron.

As you can clearly see - the shooter and those who accompanied him did not even bother to hide their faces to the cameras.

This feud has been going on sporadically for months now with no end in sight.

The root of the conflict between the two families, al-Jabri and al-'awii, lies in old blood feuds.

In July 2021, Bassel al-Jabri was assassinated by members of the al-'awiyi family, in retaliation for a murder he allegedly committed on a family member years ago.
The al-Jabri family, for their part, denies the involvement of the aforementioned Basel in the old murder.

In July 2021 in the previous chapter, there was a mutual firing and burning of businesses and vehicles, between these two factions of the large Abu Aisha family.

This episode is in progress.

At the moment there is no solution on the horizon and as is the case with such conflicts, they may continue for years.
