Senior members of the ultra-Orthodox parties: If Netanyahu does not have 61 seats, we will propose a rotating government - with Gantz serving as Prime Minister first.
The plan of the ultra-Orthodox parties: Senior figures in Torah Judaism and Shas made it clear tonight (Sunday) that if opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu does not get a majority of 61 in the upcoming elections, they will propose a rotation government with Blue and White, headed by Benny Gantz. They said they believed the Likud would agree to the proposal.
The goal of those elements is to pressure Netanyahu, when the chances of distrust and an alternative government in this Knesset are not high. The ultra-Orthodox can not afford another round in the opposition, when no one seriously thinks that they will sit with Lapid and Lieberman.
