Over the course of the night (Wednesday), a special force that belongs to the Israeli Border Police was operating in the Palestinian city of Jenin in Judea and Samaria and conducting arrests of terrorists.

As part if the activity, an arrest procedure has begun and while the force was closing in on a suspect, they got shot at. The force returned fire, killing one and injuring another.

After the incident, while the Border Police forces were leaving the area, they were shot at again. The forces returned fire again, this time killing two more and injuring one more.

One of the three dead terrorists was a member of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization and the other two are members of the inteligence system of the Palestinian Authority.
