Minister Lapid expressed the deep shock he felt from the terrible massacre in Texas and Buffalo and conveyed his sincere condolences on his behalf and on behalf of the State of Israel to the American people.

The two discussed the expected visit of US President Biden to Israel and the regional possibilities inherent in the security, economic aspects and the ties between the residents of the Middle East that the president's visit can bring with it.

During the conversation, the tragic death of journalist Sheerin Abu Akala was discussed. Lapid expressed his deepest protest against the biased investigation of the Palestinian Authority as well as the CNN investigation.
