Bezos responds to presidential tweet about lowering gas prices, asks if president is lacking an understanding of market forces.

Reacting to President Joe Biden demanding gas station companies lower gas prices, billionaire Jeff Bezos accused the president of not being truthful with the public and of lacking an “understanding” of how market forces determine energy prices.

"Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this," Bezos tweeted, responding to a tweet from Biden encouraging gas stations to charge consumers less for gas.
