Yahya Sinwar tried to be clever. He thought that if he threatened rockets and inflated terrorist balloons, he would be forgiven in Jerusalem. Wrong.
For the avoidance of doubt:
1. Sinwar came out very bruised from the election to the top of Hamas
2. Sinwar received a severe blow (yes!) In operation "Guardian of the Walls"
3. Sinwar is now trying to achieve gains but fails to do so
4. This is the moment of truth for Israel to shape a new reality.

We shall not forget to bless our enemies, so we can collect firy coals upon their heads. Yeshua told us to do good things onto the enemies.That doesn't means not to react in a defensive way!
