There is no doubt that the Arab media is going through a big change. Criticism is beginning to be seen as a virtue in the media, even in countries like Lebanon. Israel, for instance, is sometimes treated better in Arab media than in western media.

But not so in "Palestine". Journalists are regularly rounded up, beaten, and imprisoned. That is why, in the article from last week, the byline of the journalists was without his name.

As you can see from the screengrab, it just says "A correspondent in Gaza, Palestine". 

We all know why.
