Last year, there was a significant increase in the number of fatalities in accidents, which stood at 364, and a jump in fatal accidents by 17.5%.

Another group of road users that recorded an increase in casualties in 2021 is cyclists and electric scooters. According to the data, 1,643 people were involved in accidents reported to the police last year - an increase of 14.8%.
