In the last half hour, there have been reports of missiles shot at the Kurdish area in Iraq. What happened is not yet clear
Multiple usually reliable sources report early indications of unusual movements of Iranian ballistic-missile launchers in the western regions of the country, specifically around Khorramabad and Kermanshah.
These areas host key assets of the IRGC’s missile force, including units responsible for medium-range missiles capable of striking deep into Iraq and beyond.
According to those same sources, the current assessment is that Iran is preparing for potential strikes in northern Iraq. Such preparations—if confirmed—would signal a significant escalation by Tehran, which has increasingly used Iraqi territory as both a battleground for proxy operations and a pressure tool against the West, Israel, and regional rivals.
