After 18 days of war, Ukraine army has warned that Russian troops are preparing for fresh attacks. Ukraine has said that enemy forces are trying to gain a foothold in occupied positions while maintaining the pace of their offensive. Ukraine’s foreign ministry has accused Russian soldiers of abducting the mayor of Dniprorudne.

Meanwhile, US officials have claimed that Moscow has asked Beijing for both military and economic assistance. Zelensky has said his delegation will try to arrange a meeting with Putin during talks with their Russian counterparts.
