The "Margalit Startup City" center will operate according to a model of connecting entrepreneurs to investment bodies, technology giants and research institutes. The center will operate programs in schools in the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights, including tracks of entrepreneurship, innovation and podtech.
A new food technology center was inaugurated on Thursday in the heart of Kiryat Shmona, and it will turn the city and the Upper Galilee into an international innovation center in the food industry. The center, Startup City Galil Margalit, will operate on a model of connecting technology giants and startups with investment bodies, international corporations, and research and academic centers.
Many companies have already joined the new center, and will open a northern branch, including: Cisco, Deloitte, the Lutzato Group, Bank Hapoalim, the Miguel Research Institute, Tel Hai College, and the firm of Adv. Fischer Bachar-Chen. The center has also been joined by technology companies, including Solato, grasshopper and more!
