IDF Chief of Staff, LTG Aviv Kochavi, landed this evening for his first official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.

An honor guard will welcome LTG Kochavi to mark the beginning of the visit tomorrow. The Chief of the General Staff will then meet with the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of National Defense Administration, Abdellatif Loudiyi, the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces, LTG Belkhir El Farouk, and additional senior defense officials.

This visit marks the first official visit of an IDF Chief of Staff to the Kingdom of Morocco. The aim of the visit is to learn from each other and share knowledge, and is part of the IDF’s overall efforts to broaden military cooperation with other countries.
