American Exposure of the assassination in Iran surprises Israel

Israel was caught by surprise by the American leak and fear the consequences. There is an orderly but secretive mechanism between Israel and the United States through which Israel informs the Americans about the kind of actions that took place in Tehran.

Israel still does not know why the leak took place, but there are fears that the leak will increase Iran's desire for revenge. Such a leak is very unusual in the intimate relationship between Israel and the United States.
