Ron Dermer, who was Israel's ambassador to Washington and played a crucial role in reaching the Abraham Accords, believes that if the US president adopts the right policy, he could bring an end to the Israeli-Arab conflict. 

According to him, the Saudis greatly appreciated Israel's refusal to condemn them for the murder of the journalist, Jamal Khashoggi.

"If the political crisis had not broken out in 2019, I am sure we would have had peace with Saudi Arabia today," said former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer, who played a key role in reaching the Abrahamic Accords.
