YONI BEN-MENACHEM: Senior Israeli officials say the US has begun operating a system of drones and advanced collection devices in the Gaza Strip that allow it to closely monitor what is happening.
Senior Israeli security officials claim that the US has established tight control over what is happening in the Gaza Strip, preventing Israel from taking military measures or sanctions against Hamas in response to the delay in returning the bodies of the kidnapped.
At the same time, Washington has strengthened its intelligence grip on the Strip using a system of drones and advanced collection devices, which allow it to closely monitor the activities of Israel and Hamas.
It also appears that US President Donald Trump is continuing to put pressure on Hamas. Last night he issued a statement in which he wrote that "Hamas will have to start releasing the dead hostages, or the other countries involved in this great peace will take action.
