U.S. Marines tap Israel’s Smart Shooter system to boost accuracy against drone threats

Israeli defense-tech company Smart Shooter has secured a new contract with the U.S. Marine Corps to supply its rifle-mounted, AI-assisted fire control system, the SMASH 3000SA.
The system is designed to improve accuracy ag against fast-moving targets, including small unmanned aerial drones.
The base agreement is valued at $3.4 million, with an additional $2.4 million option for spare parts, training and further systems.
