BIRD Aerosystems announced yesterday (Tuesday) that the company has been selected by the Ministry of Defense through Mapat to demonstrate a prototype of a new defense system that will protect ground forces from various types of threats and missiles, including anti-tank missiles.

The new prototype of the protection system will include a small radar, based on the BIRD SPREOS system radar. The project is currently in advanced stages of development, and the company is expected to demonstrate the defense system during 2022.
