The family of mother killed with her children in an accident in the Galilee: "How can you bury four flowers together?"

The family of Moran Ben Eli, 36, who was killed along with her three children in the fatal accident on Route 89, shared the unbelievably tragic feelings after the accident. The grandfather, Shimon Zini, grabbed the schoolbag of his 3-year-old granddaughter Annel, who was killed along with her 12-year-old brother Dekel and 10-year-old Liam, and cried: "They were a happy family."

The father of the children and Moran's husband, Reuven Ben Eli - the only one who survived the accident in the family car - was seriously injured in the accident. His brother said: "He is in denial, he's asking to call his wife."

Grandfather Shimon added about the family: "Moran really wanted a daughter after two sons. When Annel was born she sent us a WhatsApp that she finally had a daughter. We felt was pure happiness and joy." He went on to pay tribute to his daughter and grandchildren: "Our loved ones, our flowers, It is impossible that a man came and took you away. I do not know how we will manage without these four. This is just the beginning. I do not know how to bury four flowers. I do not know how."

He also held the pants of his granddaughter Anell. "These are pants she loved so much, I smell her. He told of the reason for the trip during which the accident happened, in which apparently a bus deviated from its lane, collided with several private vehicles, and overturned. "They went to Hatzor HaGlilit to visit Reuven's brother" and then the accident happened.

He shared the moment they realized it was their family members involved in the accident. "We saw on TV that there was an accident, but we calmed down as soon as we heard the ages of the injured, because on TV they were wrong in age. But then Ami, Reuven's brother, called us and said to come to Rambam Hospital. "They said there was an officer waiting to talk to us and our son-in-law took us because I could not drive," he said.

Shimon added that grandchildren who reach the age of bar mitzvah are taken abroad, and said that the grandson who was killed, 12-year-old Dekel, wanted to go to Barcelona. "But they went and did not return," he said.

The fatal accident caught Bar, Moran's sister killed, on her way to a flight to the United States. "My big sister called me and I didn't get on the flight. When you get a phone like that and you hear the sigh when you answer - you see. Moran was an amazing sister, an amazing mother who gave everything to her children. God takes the best," Bar said.

"Reuben did not believe. He thought he was in some dream that he would soon wake up from."
Reuven's brother, Ami, who visited him at the hospital, said the response was not the hardest news of all. "He did not believe it at first. He thought he was in some dream that he would soon wake up from. I explained to my brother that if he gives up then he is actually giving up the commemoration of his children and all the things from which he can rebuild himself. I was very clear with him. Room to him. He understands that he needs to go to a funeral. With the help of the name we will take him to the funeral to say goodbye to our loved ones in a dignified way. I think this is the smartest thing that will close the circle of all this terrible tragedy. "Again on foot. On the other side is my sister-in-law's family who are in a very, very difficult situation. They also lost a girl. They also lost three grandchildren who were the center of their lives."

He further said that his brother "remembers the whole accident until the moment the bus overturned on them, he remembers how the bus deviated from the lane and hit the vehicles in front of him. He thought that if he tried to cut left to bypass all the traffic coming in front of him He turned in the opposite direction as soon as he tried to overtake him on the left. He does not remember the evacuation. I do not remember anything. I remember until the moment the bus came to him.

The fatal accident occurred yesterday around 5pm near the Hurfish local council. Apart from members of the Ben Eli family, the driver of the overturned bus, who was driving students from Bnei Akiva, who is 76 years old, was also killed. Six people were seriously injured in the accident, including Reuben, and dozens more were lightly injured. A total of 53 wounded were evacuated by MDA teams to Rambam, Ziv Hospitals and the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
