Are we before the escalation of the war between the Saudis and the Houthis?

It is going to be interesting in the war between the Saudi-led Arab coalition and the Iranian-backed Houthi militias.

In three Houthi attacks tonight, there was an attempt to hit Saudi Air Force base Khamis Moshit (four UAVs were intercepted)
The Saudi oil company ARAMCO (ARAMCO) has been hit in Jazan, which, like other Aramco facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has long been a regular target for Iranian militias.

But tonight was also something else, which could change the rules of the game, and cause the Saudis to react more sharply than usual, this time the Houthis also attacked two infrastructure facilities.

A seawater desalination facility located in Shikqiq (???? = Shuqaiq) located on the Red Sea coast in Jazan Province was attacked.
And a power station, located near the border with Yemen, was attacked in southern Dhahran (Dhahran Al Janub) in the southern province of Asir (which I mentioned earlier)

I only remember one time in the past, in June 2019, that the Houthis attacked a Saudi desalination facility, and it was the same facility that was attacked tonight in a pouch (that does not mean there were no more such attacks, but I just do not remember any more)

On the other hand, in 2016 a desalination plant was attacked in the city of Moha (al-Mocha) on the Red Sea coast in Taiz province, in southwestern Yemen (yes, this is the city we know from Mokka coffee…) and was said to have been attacked by the Arab coalition.

It is conceivable that the Saudi response will be swift and untraceable, and it is likely that, among other things, Houthi facilities will be attacked at Sanaa International Airport, which was attacked quite recently, and that the Saudis claim that the attacks were launched last night.

I instead of the Houthis, I would not try to put in the equation a damage to the water supply in Saudi Arabia, certainly not before the month of Ramadan, which begins on April 2.

Days will tell if this is just the beginning of an Iranian-inspired escalation and guidance, which is sure to be very interesting.

Saudi seems to be blowing hot and cold. They better buck up before it's too late. The Houthi are growing in strength.
