The Kurdish soldiers, which had been doing the most of the fighting with ISIS, were able to take control of one of the four buildings that make up the prison which ISIS had occupied.

Just before dark the U.S. moved into the building a single special American unit. It appears that they have lost confidence in the Kurdish forces.
