Pro-regime social media reported that Brigadier General Thabet Ali Daher, from the town of Beit Ishaut, in the rural area of Jabal, in the Latakia sub-district, died in a car accident during the last few hours.
Other reports close to Brigadier General Nashuan al-Saad, who hails from the city of al-Qaraytin, in the eastern rural area of Homs province, mourned his death during a search operation by ISIS operatives carried out by Assad forces in the area.
Unidentified gunmen attacked Lieutenant Muhammad Faiz al-Sharif, Division 4 of the Assad Forces, in the northern city of Daraa province on Friday, killing him on the spot.
In the last months of this year, dozens of al-Assad military and intelligence officers have been killed in separate incidents, and activists believe they were killed following a regime order to conceal their criminal activities, in case Bashar Assad faces trial in the future for crimes against the Syrian people.
