In a joint operation by forces of the SJ District Police and the IDF, a huge smuggling of 50 pistols in the Jordan Valley area near the border with Jordan was thwarted.

Israeli police officers and forces from the Jordan Valley operated last night in the Jordan Valley, after successful identification by an observation unit, the forces located two cases containing 50 pistols of various types and which were supposed to fall into the hands of terrorists and criminals.

This huge seizure, valued at NIS 2 million, is another success of the SJ District Police, together with IDF forces that are working resolutely to locate the sources of illegal weapons in the Arab sector, while eliminating smuggling routes and trading in them.
