Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem today  and commended him on his first visit to Israel.
 
In their discussion, the FIFA President raised the idea that Israel would host the World Cup in 2030, together with other countries in the region, led by the United Arab Emirates. 
 
Former senior US administration officials – former Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin and former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman – also attended the meeting.
